On Saturday night we celebrated our engagement, our new home, and our new dog with many of our friends. We really enjoyed our first party in our new home and, despite worries that we couldn't fit our oversize guest list into the space, the whole evening went swimmingly.
We had so much fun in fact that it took us all of Sunday to recover. A few naps for me and a day full of wii for Jared and we are [nearly] ready for "the mondays." Before we let our weekend go, however, we were inspired to start a new tradition: Something Sweet Sunday (SSS). Since we live above an unusually wonderful Whole Foods with an art gallery-like bakery, we are going to round off each weekend with a selection from their sinful display. We will then tease you with pictures!
Our first SSS - a beautiful chocolate cupcake, cannoli, tulip mousse cup, and a turtle tartlet. We forgot to take pictures before we bit into it so - here they are midway through.
